Former WWE star and Playboy cover girl Ashley Massaro has passed away at the age of 39, according to TMZ and several other outlets.
Though the cause of death has not been released, we do know that Ashley was transported from her home in Suffolk County, NY to a hospital where she died on Thursday morning. Her death is being classified as “non-criminal.”
Massaro became a WWE Superstar after winning the 2005 Diva Search. She was released from the company in 2008, but had recently teased a comeback.
