On Saturday, Big Cass was scheduled to square off with Joey Ryan at Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore event in Philadephia. However, just moments before the fired WWE Superstar was scheduled to sit down for a fan meet and greet, he suffered a seizure which resulted in him collapsing to the ground before convulsing. He was later taken to the hospital via an ambulance.

Cass was replaced in his match by Blue Meanie and Tommy Dreamer later provided an update to fans when he told them that Cass was doing well and the seizure wasn't drug related.

It's a little odd that Dreamer felt it was necessary to tell everyone that and Cass reportedly had issues with alcohol before being fired by WWE. More worryingly, it's possible that he could have an undiagnosed concussion and that's what resulted in this attack. With any luck, we'll have more details soon but we obviously wish Cass a speedy recovery as this sounds bad.
