It was earlier this year that we learned about Dean Ambrose's plans to leave WWE but he's finally talking about what led to his departure.

On the latest edition of Talk is Jericho, the man known as Jon Moxley addressed a number of topics but made a point of addressing his decision to walk away from the company in order to set the record straight. After suffering an injury last year, he remembers thinking, "I’m so excited to come back to wrestling, but I’m not excited to come back to WWE."

"They screw everything up," he continued, referring to WWE's creative team and Vince McMahon, someone he brands "allegedly a genius."

"Looking back at it now, I can’t believe I hung in there that long," he continued. "WWE’s creative process sucks — it does not work. It’s killing the company. I think Vince is the problem." Those are damning comments and Moxley went on to express his disgust with being forced to make those remarks about Roman Reigns' battle with cancer.

He also reveals that he was paid only $500 for his participation in that WWE Network sendoff special for The Shield.
