Former WWE Superstar Keith Lee Issues Statement On His Release And Says "I Am Capable Of So Much More"

Keith "Bearcat" Lee is no longer part of WWE, a real shame when a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble for a faceoff with Brock Lesnar not too long ago made it clear he had the makings of a main event Superstar. Sadly, Vince McMahon didn't agree and we've seen what became of him.

Needless to say, Lee is probably glad to be free and it certainly sounds like he's looking forward to whatever comes next. In the statement below, he teases his post-WWE future and confirms that the company didn't pay for his medical bills while he was battling complications caused by COVID-19.

We're assuming the former NXT Champion probably has a non-compete of 90 days with WWE, so we won't know where he headed until next year. It does, however, seem likely that he'll head to AEW, a company that would make much better use of him as a top tier in-ring talent.
