Lana (real name CJ Perry) was among those released by WWE earlier this year, and as she remains under a 90-day non-compete, we still don't know what the future holds in store for her.
However, in a recent Instagram post, the Ravishing Russian asked, "Now that WWE is done would you like to see me in AEW?" It would certainly make sense for her to join her husband, Miro/Rusev, in the company, though it all depends how interested AEW would be in potentially retreading old ground. Still, there's no denying Perry would be a major draw for them.
While we wait and see what happens there, Lana recently took part in a superhero-themed photoshoot. You can check out the photos by following the link in the Tweet below, but the former WWE Superstar was also asked to explain where her "Ravishing Russian" moniker came from.
"The Ravishing Russian is my wrestling moniker, and it was given to me because well, eh, my business isn’t known for its subtly," she said. "I grew up in Russia, so that’s the first bit, but on our show, I’ve been married more times than a Real Housewife—so that might explain the ravishing part a little. It’s not so much that I am ravishing, but more that I like to ravish."
In the photoshoot, Perry takes inspiration from Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and many others:
