While it's clear WWE never had any serious plans for Lana, fans were still surprised when she was among those released by the company earlier this year. CJ Perry is no longer under contract, and there's been a lot of speculation about whether the model and actress intends to focus on those career paths or step back into the wrestling ring for likes of AEW or IMPACT Wrestling. 

Right now, a return to the squared circle doesn't appear to be a priority. In fact, Perry has been shooting a new movie role alongside husband Miro (who is part of the AEW roster these days). 

Those two pose for a very cool photoshoot below, and there are many fans who remain convinced that Perry will soon join Miro in the company. Those mysterious video packages are clearly leading to something, and that's what we'd bank on happening given the Best Man's recent losing streak.
