Melina had a great run in WWE, and over the past couple of days, reliable sites have claimed that she's signed a contract to return to the company. That's definitely a surprise, but if there is another Evolution PPV in the works, it's a move that would make sense (there has inevitably been some backlash after all those releases at the start of the pandemic, though).
PW Insider were first to report on Melina's return, and WrestlingNews.co later revealed that she was scheduled to be part of the RAW brand.
Now, though, Melina herself has weighed in on Facebook with a lengthy statement in which she says that isn't happening...at least not right now. It's no secret that talent is told to keep quiet about surprise returns, so this denial could be similar to what happened with Edge.
Regardless, it's hard to imagine where Melina could fit into plans on RAW, but she's one heck of a talent, and it would be no bad thing to see her back in the squared circle.
This makes my heart ache because I love my fans so much. I want you to realize that these sites that claim they know...
