Former WWE Superstar MVP Makes It Clear That His Recent RAW 25 Appearance Was A One-Off

MVP was one of many familiar faces to make an appearance on RAW 25 but if you were hoping the former Intercontinental and United States Champion will be making a WWE return, his recent comments may disappoint.

WWE brought back a lot of Superstars from the past for its celebratory RAW 25 show and MVP was among them. He didn't really have anything to do beyond sitting backstage with the APA but unlike a lot of the other veterans who showed up, he hasn't retired and has been rumoured to make a WWE return for years now. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like that's on the cards for the time being.

"By and far and away I was the sharpest dressed poker player in the building," he revealed in a recent interview asked when he was asked about his cameo. "At the end of the day I made a very nice
pay day to show up in a suit, play cards, say hi to my friends, no bumps I win."

It is pretty crazy to think WWE paid MVP to do pretty much nothing but it doesn't sound like's he's overly keen on returning to the company or that the idea has been raised. "It makes me laugh because people were like congratulations on going to RAW. Congratulations for what? It’s a date. I’m going to work, it’s a
one off. Thanks I guess. not that big a deal. For me. With all due respect."

"I want to get re-signed to the WWE just so I can make an XFL appearance at a game and then take a knee during the national anthem," he joked. We'll just have to catch him on the indies!
