Former WWE Superstar Rosa Mendes Recently Underwent Surgery Which Writes Off An EVOLUTION Return

Former WWE Superstar Rosa Mendes recently announced that she underwent ACL and meniscus surgery in Pittsburgh, PA. As you can see below, she's now on crutches and while there's no word on when she'll be able to step back inside the ring, this is the sort of injury which keeps wrestlers on the shelf for several months (and takes her out of the running for the upcoming Evolution PPV).

While Mendes has been training in hopes for a WWE return somewhere down the line, it doesn't appear as if there are any plans in place for that to happen and this surgery will keep her on the bench for a number of months regardless. Would you like to see Mendes in WWE again or should she refine her craft on the independent circuit? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
