Daniel Bryan was The Miz's rookie during the first iteration of NXT, a humiliating step down for the talented Indie wrestler. They've since feuded on television and most recently shared a series of verbal exchanges on SmackDown Live and Talking Smack which were so believable, many fans started wondering if the two actually hate each other behind the scenes too.

Well, former WWE Superstar Ryback has now shared his thoughts on whether there really is any heat between the two but be warned that this may shatter any illusions you have about them!

"Him and Dan, it's all f--king fake! Even if that was [them] taking shots at each other, they're still in a f--king scripted environment. And Dan knows. Dan [has] wrestled The Miz. Dan can go out there and wrestle with anybody and Miz can put in time and Daniel Bryan has nothing but respect for The Miz and The Miz really helped him a lot early on. And Daniel Bryan helped Miz too with everything and escalating him."

It's true that The Miz helped Bryan get over at the start of his WWE career and that the former reality star greatly benefitted from their exchanges on Talking Smack last year. As of right now, the signs are pointing to Bryan remaining SmackDown Live's General Manager and not actively competing in the ring but if he does, it would be great to see him battling his old foe The Miz!
