Former WWE Superstar Sin Cara Reveals What His New Name Will Be On The Independent Scene

Despite making a surprise appearance in AAA over the weekend as Sin Cara, the former WWE Superstar has now revealed his new name for the independent scene and there's a very cool story behind it...

Yesterday, we told you that Sin Cara made a surprise AAA appearance while still using that name (despite the fact it belongs to WWE and he reportedly has a 90-day non-compete clause in his contract). Now, it appears as if Jorge Arias - the man beneath the mask - will indeed be using a different moniker on the independent scene.

He's confirmed on social media that he will be going by the name, Cinta de Oro. He was one of Arias' idols and coaches and passed away in 2016. It's said that Oror's sons gave him permission to use the name and you can see the man once known as Sin Cara with them below.

Despite him no longer going by Sin Cara, it appears as if the new Cinta de Oro will be keeping the mask and it will be interesting seeing where he appears now that he's an independent wrestler.

As always, we'll keep you guys updated.
