Rumours have been swirling that Dwayne Johnson will return to the squared circle this April to battle Triple H and Stephanie McMahon alongside Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania but The Great One is going to have his hands full shortly after that when Skyscraper is released. The movie isn't a remake or based on any existing properties and is instead an original action project.

In the movie, The Rock plays FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Ford, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will
must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family trapped inside the building.

As you can see in the newly released trailer below, it's going to be an action-packed adventure movie with plenty of over the top action and the kind of fun action flick we've come to expect from the wrestler turned Hollywood A-Lister. Are you excited to check the movie out? Let us know in the usual place.
