Former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett Reveals Whether Or Not He Plans On Wrestling Again

Wade Barrett has made it clear that he has no interest in returning to WWE but does that mean's he's finished with wrestling? Seemingly not based on these comments from the former Intercontinental Champion...

It sounds like Wade Barrett is definitely open to wrestling again even if he isn't sure when that will happen. He left WWE back in 2016 after growing dissatisfied with the way the company was treating him, and while he's tackled a number of projects since, none of them has involved competing in the squared circle. However, if and when that changes, it doesn't sound like it will be for WWE.

"I’m on a bit of a career sabbatical at the moment," he explained during a recent interview. "I wrestled for 14 or 15 years. I’ve got a bunch of injuries, I’m tired, I’m getting old, I’m getting some grey hair now." Who would he wrestle for? WWE's rival! "I promise you Morgan that at some point I will be back in the ring and maybe that will take place in WOS. We’ll have to see."

WOS is the new ITV wrestling show World of Sport, a major threat to WWE in the UK and something which has led to them launching NXT UK and signing up a bunch of British talent. If Barrett were to start wrestling for them, this would be a major FU to the company and one that could show them what they've been missing. What do you guys think? Let us know your thoughts below.
