Multiple-time WWE, TNA and ECW tag-team champion and one half of one of the most well-respected tandems in history, Bully Ray, had to be hospitalised after taking a nasty shot to the head during his match at ROH's recent Death Before Dishonour event.
During a follow-up interview, Bully admited that he wasn't doing so well, and suggested that he might be thinking about hanging up his boots. Sure enough, the tough-as-nails grappler seemingly announced that he will be retiring from in ring action at last night's Global Wars.
Bully Ray, A.K.A. Bubba Ray Dudley (real name Mark LoMonaco), hasn't offcially stated that he's done in the ring, and some believe this might be part of an angle that could lead to a match with the man that hospitalised him, Jay Brisco.
We don't think that is the case, however, and wish Ray the very best of luck with his budding radio career, and whatever else he happens to turn his attention to.
