Former WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate May Have Been Shelved With An Injury

It looks like we can add another popular WWE Superstar to the injured list because it's being reported that former United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate has been shelved with a pretty nasty sounding injury.

Everyone from Dean Ambrose to Paige, Jason Jordan, and Samoa Joe are currently on the shelf with injuries and even NXT talent like Drew McIntyre and Bobby Fish are currently rehabbing some pretty serious issues. Now, it looks like we can add another name to the list because Dave Meltzer is reporting that inaugural WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate is also out of action at the moment.

While it's said that his injury is "minor," it's still serious enough to pull Mustache Mountain (the name of his tag team with Trent Seven) from the currently ongoing Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Apparently, Bate is suffering from a problem with his knee and because of that, Mustache Mountain has been replaced in the tournament by the pairing of current UK Champion Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong. They're now set to face Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch in the first round of the tournament on NXT TV next week. As of right now, though, Bate is scheduled for a PROGRESS show next month.
