Yesterday, it was reported by WrestlingInc that former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James appeared to have suffered an injury during a recent live event.

During the Superstar Shake-Up, James made the transition from RAW to Smackdown; however, she’s yet to make her official re-debut for the blue brand. Smackdown Live’s newest acquisition has been competing at live events in the mean time and faced off against Carmella in Waco, Texas. The referee stopped the match-up wthin six minutes as it seemed that James went down with a knee injury.

The report on the website states that a WWE doctor checked out the former women’s champion, but makes note that she was able to walk to the back without much help. According to Dave Meltzer, the injury to James is said to show no signs of being serious, though it's not a confirmed that she's in the clear. The Smackdown Live star is still advertised for tonight’s show in College Station.
