TripleMania XXXIII is finally here!
This year, the annual pay-per-view features a host of WWE stars up and down the Lucha Libre card.
In what’s likely to be the main event, El Hijo del Vikingo will put the AAA Mega Championship on the line against Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio, and El Grande Americano. Vikingo is currently serving his second run as Mega Champion after his huge victory over Alberto El Patron at AAA Alianzas. Vikingo is no stranger to four way matches; In fact, the 28-year-old has defended his title in numerous four way matches during his historic 833 day reign.
But Vikingo has never defended them against active WWE stars. The AAA Mega Champion overcame Chad Gable at World’s Collide, but he has to deal with the Intercontinental Champion (Dominik), a former CMLL and ROH World Champion (Dragon Lee), and a man with three different identities. Could this be the final time that he walks into a AAA show as the Mega Champion?
Psycho Clown and Pagano are looking to tear Angel & Berto apart for the AAA Tag Team Championships. And the duo has the chance to do so as the match will be contested under Street Fight rules. This is Los Garza’s third title defense, with their most recent being against Psycho Clown and Mr. Iguana. Can Los Garza survive a match against two of the most violent teams on the AAA roster?
