FOX May Be Looking At Ways To Make AEW Look Inferior When SMACKDOWN LIVE Moves To The Network

SmackDown Live is moving to FOX the same week All Elite Wrestling is expected to launch its new weekly show on TNT and a new report claims that FOX is looking for ways to make WWE stand out from the crowd.

All Elite Wrestling is expected to start airing on TNT during the first week of October, the same week that SmackDown Live arrives on FOX. The two shows won't be going head to head as AEW's show (which may end up being called "Wednesday Night Dynamite" based on a recent trademark) is expected to air on Wednesday nights.

Now, though, Dave Meltzer is reporting that FOX is testing out two new cameras for the show's debut and that it's set to take place in Los Angles.

The reason for that is because they're planning to invite a lot of celebrities to be in the crowd in order to feel like a major event and the hope is that this would make WWE look as major league as possible, thereby making AEW look minor league from the very start.

It's a sneaky but understandable move and it's going to be very interesting seeing how things play out for both companies this coming October.
