It turns out that the October 4th episode of SmackDown Live will not be the first WWE programme to air on FOX. It's been revealed today that the network plans to release a special called SmackDown's Greatest Hits on Friday, September 27th.

The plan for this one-hour special is to promote WWE's move to FOX and get some non-fans and lapsed fans up to speed with the product.

It's a smart move and it will be interesting seeing which Superstars this special puts the spotlight on, especially as that might mean we get an idea of who will be Drafted to the blue brand next month.

Will you guys tune into this one-off episode?
