As you might expect, the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown will indeed have replays. As well as airing live on FOX each week, it will also be shown in Spanish on FOX Deportes. FOX Sports 2, meanwhile, has the show listed for October 5th at 9.30pm EW and then October 8th (a Tuesday!) at 8.00pm ET.

It remains to be seen whether this replay patters continues moving forward but FOX clearly wants to get as many eyes on WWE as possible for its first week on the network.

The premiere of Friday Night SmackDown takes place on Friday, October 4th from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will headline the show in a match against Brock Lesnar, while a number of Legends are set to appear, including Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.

Are you planning to watch live?
