Fox Sports has announced today that they have suspended production for their studio shows. As a result, WWE Backstage will stop airing effective immediately, but this is unlikely to negatively impact WWE in any way. Why not? Well, this week's ratings could be some indication.

Despite featuring appearances from AJ Styles and Xavier Woods, this past Tuesday's episode of WWE Backstage drew only 35,000 viewers, the lowest rating for the studio show to date.

As you might expect, this suspension of production is a result of concerns over the coronavirus, and as we previously reported, tonight's episode of SmackDown will take place in the empty WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
