FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN Ratings Dropped A Whopping 25% For The Show's Second Week On FOX

After attracting an impressive 3.869 million viewers for the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, ratings for the show fell by 25% this week. In total, it managed to attract an average of 2.899 million viewers. Those aren't bad numbers for a Friday but that's a lot of people the company failed to bring back for week two.

It likely didn't help that WWE failed to set up any big angles on last week's show, while the decision to advertise big names for the premiere who didn't appear no doubt upset a lot of fans.

WWE is still struggling to attract younger viewers but Friday Night SmackDown was still #1 for the night on network television in key ratings demographics. Needless to say, it should be very interesting seeing how things level out over the coming weeks, especially now the WWE Draft is nearly done.

What did you guys think of last week's episode?
