Future WWE Tapings At The WWE Performance Center In Doubt As Orlando Mayor Issues Stay-At-Home Order

Last night, Orange County residents were ordered to stay at home from Thursday onwards, and that puts the likelihood of future WWE tapings in doubt. Will it also affect WrestleMania? Read on for details...

As of 11pm on Thursday night, all Orlando, Florida residents will have to stay at home. That's Orange County's (the central county of Orlando) latest effort to try and contain the spread of COVID-19, and this order prohibits anyone from leaving home unless they're making trips to work for essential business, the grocery store, or pharmacies.

Does WWE count as an "essential business?"

Well, probably not, and this is going to make it that much harder for WWE to tape upcoming episodes of RAW and SmackDown. Luckily for WWE, all the tapings for shows leaving up to WrestleMania were done yesterday, and the Show of Shows itself is going to be taped today and Thursday just before the order takes effect.

With only a handful of WWE Superstars based in Orlando and others unable to travel there, it goes without saying that these shows probably won't remain on television that far beyond WrestleMania unless something drastic changes in the coming weeks.

We'll keep you guys updated!
