Goldberg Is Still Willing To Have That Match With The Undertaker "If The Cards Fell Right"

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has once again weighed in on possibly doing battle with The Undertaker inside a WWE ring but it doesn't sound like he's calling Vince McMahon up begging to make it a reality.

Goldberg has retired from wrestling (well, for now at least) and The Undertaker - who we all thought had retired - is now competing on a semi-regular basis in WWE. Does that mean the dream match we've all been debating for years is any closer to happening? Not exactly but during a recent interview, the WWE Hall of Famer said he would still be opening to going one on one with the Deadman.

"Don’t put words in my mouth," Goldberg said when asked about wrestling The Undertaker. "I would like to have it if it came available and it was right and people wanted it I’m still capable of doing it. Because once I sit here and say it’s a match I’d like to have that means I’m asking for it — I’m not asking for anything — I’m just saying if the cards fell right I wouldn’t say no."

Goldberg went on to discuss his friendship with the Phenom outside of the squared circle and you have to believe that makes this match that little bit more likely, especially as we know The Undertaker has Vince McMahon's ear. Unfortunately, neither man is able to perform particularly lengthy matches so it could ultimately prove to be something of a disappointment if we're being totally honest.
