Goldberg is The New Universal Champion After Pinning "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt At SUPER SHOWDOWN

Just in case WWE still hadn't pissed off every one of their fans at Super ShowDown already, they had Goldberg go over "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt in the main event to become the new Universal Champion...

Goldberg is a now a 2-time Universal Champion after defeating "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt at Super ShowDown.

The match went pretty much as you'd expect, with The WWE Hall of Famer hitting a spear right out of the gate. Wyatt kicked out immediately, and Goldy hit three more to no avail. Then, The Fiend managed to lock on the Mandible Claw, but just when it looked like Bill was fading, he reversed into a lousy looking Jackhammer and ended Wyatt's undefeated streak.

Yes, one of the most over champions we've seen in years dropped his title to a 53-year-old part-timer who can barely work a full match because Vince didn't want Roman Reigns to get booed at WrestleMania. Awesome.

Tune in to SmackDown tomorrow to see what's certain to be more awful WWE programming... or don't. It's Friday night. I'm sure we all have better things to be doing.
