Goldberg's return to WWE in 2016 was a huge success and while it was clear that he wasn't capable of competing in a lengthy match, his rivalry with Brock Lesnar was incredibly compelling and a great deal of fun. After competing in his final match at WrestleMania, Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and ever since then, fans have been wondering about the possibility of his return.
"Has the itch been scratched for my son? As he is sitting next to me, and I’m taking him to school, I can tell you probably he would love for me to do it again," he said in a recent interview when asked about the possibility of returning to the squared circle. "There is a lot of people he needs to say hello to that he got to be good friends with. I’m sure he misses them."
"But did that fill the void? I think it did. A lot of things go into it. A lot of things are molding my answer. All things considered for the storyline and the timing, I think it went the right way to do it. I think he is satiated as I’m helping coach his football team this afternoon. Daddy is doing NCIS: Los Angeles, The Goldbergs, Knife or Death. There are so many other things."
In other words, Goldberg's son was happy seeing his father in action in the squared circle and he has plenty of acting projects in the work which are keeping him busy so he doesn't need the money!
