GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Star Bradley Cooper Rumored For Vince McMahon Role In Upcoming Biopic

You're probably best taking this with a big old pinch of sale for the time being but a new report claims that Guardians of the Galaxy and American Sniper star Bradley Cooper is being eyed to play Vince McMahon.

We learned earlier this year that a Vince McMahon biopic is in the works from TriStar and WWE Studios titled Pandemonium. The film is expected to revolve around his ascension in the wrestling business and if this new casting rumour is any indication, the hope is that it could be a legit Oscar contender when it's released. Why? Bradley Cooper has reportedly been offered the lead role!

This news comes from PW Insider and while they're obviously reliable for wrestling news, you'd expect this sort of information to come from a Hollywood trade like Deadline or Variety.

Regardless, this points to WWE Studios wanting to bag a big name to play Vince and it's also been said that the hope is to get the movie shooting sooner rather than later. Cooper would be perfect for the role and while WWE's movie division doesn't have the best back catalogue of releases, this could legitimise them in a big way providing its handled properly and lands a talented director.
