Someone isn’t a fan of Kofi Kingston. Or just guys who look like 145-pound lightweights.
WWE Hall of famer “Superstar” Billy Graham took to social media to voice his anger over seeing that Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan will be for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35. Graham posted on Facebook (which has now been deleted) asking,
”Is the WWE serious???” and saying that Kofi going to WrestleMania was ”a joke”. Feel free to check Graham's post
here.
Graham would then aim his attack at Dana Warrior for some reason. As many know by now, Warrior is the newest member of the creative team and the Hall of famer faulted her for coming up with idea of having Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania; however, there's no evidence that points to Warrior being behind the Kofi/Bryan story. Even if it was, the storyline is ultimately Vince's decision, who's clearly listening to the fans when it comes to Kofi Kingston going to WrestleMania for the WWE championship.
He then questioned if
”anyone out there really excited to see these 2 lightweights wrestle for the WWE Championship”. Graham would then go on to say ”Oh, one more thing. I would love to see Kofi at 145 pounds put his newly won WWE belt on the line against Brock Lesner.”
Graham clearly has a old-school mentality towards wrestling. Never mind the fact that its 2019 and fans a solidly behind Kofi’s journey in gaining his WWE championship at the grandest stage of them all.
