Here Are All The Championship Changes Which Took Place At WWE SUMMERSLAM Last Night

SummerSlam didn't feature any significant twists and turns (so much for those rumours about The Undertaker making his return, eh?) but a lot of championships changed hands at the event! For starters, the Kickoff show saw Neville take down Akira Tozawa less than a week after losing the Cruiserweight Championship to him on RAW in order to regain 205 Live's top prize.

On that same Kickoff, The Usos managed to defeat The New Day to become the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions. That cuts their reign short and it will be interesting now to see how long this feud continues for now. The RAW Tag Team titles also changed hands when reunited Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins beat the team of Sheamus and Cesaro.

In terms of singles titles, Brock Lesnar retained the Universal Championship, Jinder Mahal is still WWE Champion, and AJ Styles managed to stop Kevin Owens from regaining the United States Championship. There were some changes in the Women's division, though, as Alexa Bliss lost to Sasha Banks and Naomi was defeated by Natalya. Big changes are coming to both shows then!
