Roman Reigns may be an incredibly divisive WWE Superstar but regardless of the mixed reaction he receives on his way to the ring, it's unlikely WWE will stop pushing The Big Dog in the near future. There are a number of reasons for that with one of the biggest being his strong merchandise sales.
However, it's now been revealed that Reigns is competing for second place with current WWE Champion and SmackDown Live Superstar AJ Styles. They're apparently neck and neck but not at the top spot according to Dave Meltzer. Instead, John Cena remains the company's top merchandise seller despite his part-time status but that probably should be a surprise given his massive popularity.
Other strong merchandise sellers include The New Day, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, and Braun Strowman. It's not clear how Rusev is doing these days but his Rusev Day gimmick definitely pushed him up the charts and that could ultimately lead to the Bulgarian Brute receiving a well-deserved push!
