When Sheamus returned to WWE, he immediately set his sights on Shorty G. Well, during last night's Royal Rumble Kickoff show, we got a back and forth match between the two which saw the former Chad Gable put on a good showing before the Celtic Warrior managed to hit the Brogue Kick for the 1-2-3.
As for that United States Championship match between Andrade and Humberto Carrillo, the rookie put on a good showing against the former NXT Champion but after a series of near falls, it was Andrade who retained his title.
He did so after a quick roll-up and while time will tell whether that's it for this new rivalry, Andrade has now managed to vanquish both Rey Mysterio and Carrillo in recent weeks. His star is clearly on the rise but will WWE finally set the stage for the Hair vs. Mask match fans want to see between him and the Master of the 619 at WrestleMania?
We'll have to wait and see.
