Goldust was originally supposed to team up with Alicia Fox in the Mixed Match Challenge but her injury means plans were changed and the veteran was instead paired up with Mandy Rose. Thanks to that, "Rose Gold" was born, a team it's hard not to hope we''ll see more of in future. However, a cool name and matching ring gear wasn't enough for them to take down Naomi and Jimmy Uso!

While much of the match was played for laughs, the real-life husband and wife team emerged victorious after Goldust was hit with the Rearview, a Superkick, and Frog Splash. Daniel Bryan was the one who counted the pinfall because fans voted beforehand for him to be the special guest referee.

Once the bell rang, Rusev and Lana came out to make it clear that they'll defeat Elias and Bayley in next week's edition of the show. It's hard to say who's going to ultimately emerge victorious at this stage but it's been a fun tournament and one which has delivered its fair share of enjoyable matches.
