On last night's episode of SmackDown Live, Daniel Bryan made his return as an active WWE Superstar official. Now, Dave Meltzer has provided an update on how this whole thing went down.

Apparently, WWE has been planning this angle with Bryan, Shane McMahon, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens for weeks now but there was a backup plan in case that didn't work out (which presumably would have seen Zayn and Owens in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal instead).

It turns out that it was the experts Bryan visited who helped change WWE's
Dr. Maroon's mind and the leader of the Yes Movement is now free to wrestle as much as he wants. He will, however, be tagging with Shane at WrestleMania and it sounds like his schedule will be a part-time one consisting of around 60 dates a year as opposed to the normal WWE schedule of 200 dates a year.

Meltzer also believes that Bryan will now remain with WWE rather than returning to the Indies so chances are he's going to remain with the company for the foreseeable future. YES! YES! YES!
