Dean Ambrose has officially left WWE. During last night's special event in Moline, Illinois - billed as The Shield's Final Chapter on the WWE Network - Ambrose teamed up with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to take on the team of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin.

While it's unusual for anyone to win their final match in WWE, Ambrose was part of the winning side after Reigns hit a Spear on Lashley, Rollins delivered the Curb Stomp to McIntyre, and Ambose took out Corbin with the Dirty Deeds. They then hit the Triple Powerbomb on the latter before the Universal Champion got the 1-2-3.

After the match, all three men addressed the crown and Ambrose praised his Shield brothers before one final embrace.

No one knows what comes next for the Lunatic Fringe but the prevailing theory is that he could be All Elite Wrestling bound. Whatever happens, WWE has treated him well on the way out, so they're clearly optimistic that he could return down the line.
