It's no secret that Jeff Hardy has signed a new contract with WWE, but the length of it has only been rumoured or speculation on since. It was in an interview with BT Sport that the current Intercontinental Champion dropped that bombshell, while also confirming that part of his new deal means being able to use his "No More Words" theme song.
Last week, Dave Meltzer noted on an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Hardy's previous deal was supposed to expire in a couple of months, and that he wasn't sure about the length of the deal.
Now, though, PW Insider says that Jeff's new contract has time added on due to injury-related inactivity that occurred during his previous deal, while it was pointed out this deal is now "closer to 2-3 years total in length." Clearly, WWE couldn't convince him to sign one of those lengthy five-year deals we've been hearing so much about since All Elite Wrestling was launched!
With Matt in AEW and Jeff in WWE for the foreseeable future, the chances of them being reunited are now less than slim, and it's hard to say whether they'll ever get one more match together.
What do you guys think?
