There's been a lot of speculation about the absence of The IIconics from WWE TV since they lost the Women's Tag Team Championships but we now have an update of sorts from Dave Meltzer. In case you've not been keeping track, neither Billie Kay nor Peyton Royce have wrestled since November and they haven't even been at non-televised live events.

"I asked about them a few weeks ago," he says. "A decision was made to take them off TV. Maybe repackaging, but the idea was they'd be back."

So, it does sound like the plan is for them to come back eventually but if a repackaging is indeed in the works, then there's a chance they could be split up as both women did well as singles stars in NXT before eventually becoming a popular tag team.

2019 was a disappointing year for The IIconics as they were treated like an afterthought following their tag team title win during last year's WrestleMania
