According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Women's Tag Team Championships are still on the way despite them not being announced at Evolution this past Sunday. The titles were actually designed months ago and there's a very good reason why WWE has been passing out "We Want Women’s Tag Championship" signs at recent televised shows.

Apparently, the idea is to make it look like there's a groundswell of support from fans and when Stephanie McMahon makes an announcement about them, it will be because the fans demanded it.

The talent has also been told that they're free to talk about the titles because the hope is that will generate even more publicity and make fans anxious to see them introduced. To be fair, it seems to be working! Are you guys hoping to see these titles introduced in the near future? Share your thoughts below and stay tuned for additional updates on WWE's mysterious plans as we have them.
