Brock Lesnar had been advertised to appear on last night's RAW since mid-July but it's now been revealed that he actually flew home on Monday morning. No firm details have been revealed for why he was a no-show but it's said that "plans changed" which is a common occurrence within WWE these days!
As of right now, there's no word on when Lesnar will be back but it is widely assumed that he will return to WWE which is why that angle with Paul Heyman asking for a rematch was aired on the show.
It's thought that Lesnar could come back for one final WWE run after his UFC fight with Daniel Cormier early next year so it's possible he could be back in time for WrestleMania. With any luck, that won't mean he'll end up squaring off with Roman Reigns (again) at the Showcase of the Immortals. It's also said that Vince McMahon felt the return of The Shield more than made up for no Lesnar last night.
Regardless, Reigns vs. Braun Strowman is being advertised for September's live events so the signs are pointing to those two coming to blows at the Hell in a Cell PPV next month so stay tuned.
