Here's The Latest On What WWE Has Planned For 205 LIVE Moving Forward

This week, the second season of Mixed Match Challenge ended on Facebook Watch. That show is obviously the reason why 205 Live was moved to Wednesday because WWE wanted to provide live programming for the online streaming service and knew it wouldn't make sense to do the show after fans had sat through both two hours of SmackDown Live and then a half hour of the tournament.

Now, Dave Meltzer has revealed that the decision has been made to keep 205 Live on Wednesday for the rest of the year. The show will no longer be live because it will still be taped before SmackDown.

No decision has been made for 2019 but while viewership first increased on a Wednesday night, numbers have since plummeted. It's worth noting that WWE has tried to incorporate 205 Live Superstars back into the roster, hence why Cruiserweight Championship matches are back on PPVs and Mustafa Ali challenged Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live this week. As always, stay tuned for updates.
