Here's The Latest On What's Happening With Luke Harper Following His Request To Be Released

Way back in April, Luke Harper publicly requested his release from WWE. The company hadn't used him for eight months at the time but not only did the company refuse to release him but they also added more time to his contract to make up for time he had taken off dealing with injuries...injuries sustained while putting his body on the line for them!

Now, Dave Meltzer has provided an update on Harper's whereabouts and makes it clear that we shouldn't expect to see him in WWE again as "Vince doesn’t want to use him."

He adds that Harper is currently being paid to sit at home and that's likely to be the case until his contract expires. With that extension, that won't happen until April 2020 which means he'll be 40 but finally free to head elsewhere (presumably All Elite Wrestling).

For now, like Luke, we'll just have to be patient.
