A lot of fans were hoping that Dean Ambrose might be part of last week's Superstar Shakeup but there was sadly no sign of the Lunatic Fringe. However, an update on his current status has now been revealed and it's said that there are at least a few months to go until he's ready to return to action. Interestingly, it's Seth Rollins who revealed his status during a recent interview in South Africa.

"Ambrose is injured, yes," he says. "I don’t know the whereabouts or the details of his injury but he had some pretty extensive triceps surgery earlier this year, so, he’s definitely still on the mend and rehabbing. He’ll be back and better than ever, you wait, Summertime, maybe late Spring. So somewhere in
there I think, whenever that wily guy gets back to normal."

It's a shame we'll have to wait that long but Ambrose suffered a nasty injury so it's important that he takes his time getting back to 100%. The video below is well worth a watch too as the interviewer doesn't appear to be much of a wrestling fan and subsequently suggests that Nikki Bella should team up with Rollins against John Cena and Bayley in a tag team match! Well, that's not awkward...
