AJ Styles was pulled from last night's RAW because of an injury and while there's been some speculation that it was just a work, it now sounds like he may have some legitimate issues. While Baron Corbin was shown attacking the Phenomenal One backstage before he could address his status, not all of that was storyline based it seems.

PW Insider claims that word backstage is that Styles is "banged up" but there's no word on his injury beyond that.

Corbin went on to win the match that Styles was supposed to compete in and will now face Seth Rollins at Super ShowDown for the Universal Championship. It's clear that WWE is setting up something for Rollins and Corbin but it could be a while before we get to see that play out if Styles is indeed going to need to take some time off for an injury.

We'll keep you guys updated but here's hoping Styles just needs some time to rest up and won't be gone for too long.
