Here's The Latest On Whether WWE Has NXT Callups Planned For The RAW After WRESTLEMANIA

It's become commonplace for WWE to bring up talent from NXT following WrestleMania, but now that's considered its own brand, what's going to happen this year? Here's the latest on what the company has planned!

With WrestleMania fast approaching, WWE has the chance to once again shake up the RAW and SmackDown rosters. Now that NXT is considered a third brand, however, it's hard to say whether we should start getting excited about the possibility of Superstars from that show being brought up to the "main roster."

Well, during today's Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez discussed the likelihood of that happening this April following the Show of Shows, and it definitely sounds like things have changed now.

"Back in the day, everyone used to get called up after WrestleMania," he begins. "I think a person or two might get called up after WrestleMania, but now they’re trying a lot harder to only call people up when it’s time to call people up when storylines have been finished in NXT, people have been written off the show. That’s most likely when it gonna happen."

In other words, while we see may the odd name, don't expect a mass influx of talent. That's probably for the best as we've seen a lot of talented Superstars get looked over in previous years because WWE has brought up too many people too soon.

Stay tuned for updates!
