On last night's episode of SmackDown Live, Dolph Ziggler made a surprise return to attack WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. He then made an emotional speech about why it should have been him who won the title at WrestleMania and the two men will now square off at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.

Now, Dave Meltzer has shed some light on the situation. "So the Kofi Kingston thing, the story on that is that Kevin Owens is not going to Saudi Arabia," he says. "Because of that, they needed to do something."

It's believed that Owens pulled out of the show because Sami Zayn isn't allowed to attend due to his Syrian background. Ziggler was scheduled to make an appearance at a Comic-Con in Melbourne, Australia, but that's now been cancelled so this was clearly a last-minute decision on the company's part.

Ziggler hasn't been seen in WWE since January so there's a lot of excitement surrounding his return. Are you excited to see him square off with Kingston?
