The Super Show-Down has earned mostly positive reviews and while that main event has divided fans, WWE is no doubt happy with how things went down under. However, while the company claimed that 70,309 wrestling fans were in attendance, the reality is quite a bit different. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, the real number was around 62,000.
That's still a solid result even if it is quite a bit lower than the 100,024 capacity the building has for cricket matches. However, while WWE didn't sell out the event, they're said to be happy with this number.
WWE has spent months hyping the event and it certainly delivered with some big matches and a main event featuring some fan-favourite Legends (even if most of them are arguably past their prime). What did you guys think of Super Show-Down? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
