WWE delivered another fun episode of SmackDown Live last night but before the show even started, a dark match took place to get fans ready for what was to come. According to those in attendance, that saw Aleister Black defeat Buddy Murphy with a Black Mass and it's said that they both tore the house down in a fast-paced bout.

Neither man has been used much in recent week, so here's hoping this shows WWE that they have plenty to offer.

As for what happened once SmackDown Live and 205 Live finished filming, SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley managed to retain her title with a win over Charlotte Flair. As per usual, it's thought that the promise of a dark main event didn't really do much to convince fans to sit through the Cruiserweight matches.
