It was this time last year that WWE changed its creative plans and crowned AJ Styles the new WWE Champion in Manchester, England. Surprisingly, he didn't make an appearance during SmackDown Live last night and instead just cut a promo backstage about facing Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series

Well, once cameras stopped rolling, SmackDown Live General Manager Paige hit the ring to announce a tag team match pitting AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan against the team of The Miz and Randy Orton.

Bryan and Styles delivered multiple kicks on The Miz much to the delight of the crowd before the Phenomenal Once forced him to tap out to the Calf Crusher. The show then ended with Styles grabbing the mic and thanking the Manchester audience after he won the title in the city last November. You can check that out below! Were you at the show? If so, what did you think of the dark main event?
