After Tuesday night's SmackDown Live went off the air, a dark main event took place which saw SmackDown Women's Champion Asuka take on Charlotte Flair in a singles match. Apparently, the Empress of Tomorrow got the win when she made Flair tap out to her patented Asuka Lock.

There's a lot of speculation that these two could end up having a WrestleMania rematch if Flair isn't added to the Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch match but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Asuka hasn't been featured on SmackDown Live since before the Royal Rumble and it appears as if WWE is planning on having her miss the Elimination Chamber PPV. We'll keep you updated.
