Here's What WWE Originally Had Planned For Enzo Amore On RAW 25 Before He Was Fired

Former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was fired from WWE for allegedly raping someone and now some details have surfaced about how he was going to be used on RAW 25 before his suspension and release.

Apparently, the plan was for former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore to square off with Goldust on Monday's episode of RAW. The match would have taken place in the third hour of the special 25th anniversary show and it would have led to The Dudley Boyz showing up to stop The Zo Train from beating down Goldust and current (former?) #1 contender Cedric Alexander.

After Amore was suspended by WWE following those rape allegations, the segment was rewritten just hours before the show started to instead feature Rhyno, Heath Slater, and Titus Worldwide.

The Cruiserweights ended up being completely left off the show but some of them were sent to the Manhattan Center to work dark matches. On last night's 205 Live, Daniel Bryan announced that a new GM for the brand will soon be appointed and they will presumably clear up the title picture.
