CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are both heading to WWE, and while nothing is 100% official just yet, enough reliable sources have weighed in that we can be confident it's almost certainly happening.
So, what about Brock Lesnar?
The last time we saw The Beast was when he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at last night's WrestleMania, and there's been no clear sign that he's set to return to the company this summer. As a result, fans couldn't help but get excited when a new rumour surfaced suggesting that Lesnar had signed a deal with a "non-WWE" company that was almost certainly AEW.
Dave Meltzer was quick to shoot that down, as was Bryan Alvarez. "There is nothing going on right now with Brock Lesnar. Zilch," he confirms. "That does not mean that at some point something couldn’t happen with Brock Lesnar but if you’ve seen the rumors on the internet from many sides, Brock Lesnar is not going to AEW right now."
This isn't a surprise as Lesnar and AEW don't seem like the best fits. Chances are WWE is working on something so they can bring their biggest attraction back, especially now the competition has potentially signed two of the biggest names in the wrestling world.
We'll keep you updated, but for now, Lesnar remains a free agent...
